Can there be a better alternative to welcome the New Year 2016, than the memorable satsang at Chinmaya..on Mukundamala...I was taken back to 1976, to Sayajigunj grounds, where I had the first Divine 41 days satsang on Bhagavad Geetha Karma Yoga, by Pujya Gurudev himself. I was only 19, just entered SBI , young,youthful dreams, family responsibility, job,education,living alone..all appearing as the hood of Vasuki, threatening to envelope me but Swamiji's satsang and my steadfast resolute to attend them daily, enabled me to memorise all the stanzas of 3rd chapter, which I recite as Mantra, ever since....only later it became part of me, my vasana and guiding me in this confucious,deceptive materialistic world,I often don the role of Arjuna to wake up the Krishna in me, and there He manifested through swami's teachings, how to apply the Karma Yoga in my day day to life....what a beacon of hope...Pujya Gurudev I fondly remember you today. My pranams to you....you had held my little fingers to guide me along..you were always guiding me in my thoughts and work....The work life has immersed me, enveloped me in the smoke but there you are awakening me not to be consumed by the fire of passion and deception. I struggled, limped, fell ,bruised, ridiculed, victimised, but your teachings had stood by me all the time, like the Tall invisible Pillar of strength, allowing me to lean and dwell on your teachings.
