What is so significant about Aadi.
Because of my living in kerala, this month is dedicated to Ramayana. The monsoon brings halt to peasant activities, deprivation of food, epidemic and attendant mental weakness. Hence to engage everyone to pursue some purposeful activities, reciting Ramayana in local version, even a commoner can understand, lighting lamp in the centre of the house, all sitting and engaging in spiritual communion, it rejuvenates hopes, engages in meditation, and the simple meal of fresh greens of the season, with oushadha kanji or gruel, acts as wellness ritual for the body and the mind. In Tamilnadu it is amman worship, with neem leaves and turmeric act as the Doctor at your door step, Ashadi in North for Varkari or Rath Yatra...the common thread is prayer in community...Ramzan also falls in the period. And all point to a common theme. Parasparam bhavayantha shreya paramavapunath. I was itching to travel...on the first day I was blessed to have darsan of jnanaprasoonambigai samedha kalahastheeswara ...and what else I can ask for..durga homa on aadibpooram, lalitha s.namam, sundarakanda parayana, full narayaneeya on ashadi ekadashi, radha kalyana, full ashtapadi , sundarakanda pravachana, aruna sairams abhang , Rama darsana, Nimishamba darsana, aadi krithigai....fasting, prayers, ekantha vichara oil bath on Tuesdays...Thank you I could feel His divine presence. And I started decoding the Sundarakanda , Rama Geetha. In 36th choodamani pradhanam, seethadevi brings out few management rules.
1. Assign the job, only to the eligible and competent person.
2. Dwividham, trividham ...for handling friends two tactics, enemies 3 rules. Pleasing manners and talk, the art of giving, sama bheda danda for satrus.
3. Whether attachment to work causes excitement and defocuses concentration
4. How associated actions, objects revive memories...invention of token.
5. How to infuse confidence , when in unknown and doubtful environ.
6. Test the ability before entrusting great assignments.
7. To have good friends, sought by them, respectec by them
