Is there...I explore simplicity and ayurvedic priciples when meeting new culture.. there is satvik result. Last year, I travelled to Amarnath during the month of Ramzan..I wanted to visit Puri for the Rath Yatra, but doing both is not possible. This year, I visited Puri for devasnan and also visited Kendubilwa Jayadevas birthplace..It is udyavan with all the trees and plants mentioned in ashtapadi including parijatha. While chemburuthi is Kali's flower in Kolkatta, it is revered in Mangalambika in Kerala..
Even raw jackfruit is used in the bhog of Jagannath..56 varieties 8 times ..Great kitchen and mud pots alone used...When offered, is bhog..when shared, becomes mahaprasad...that is our sanskriti...neermore is given freely in mud bowls...and you can spot Seer Ramanujas chinna atop the gopura...lingaraja 7th century temple on pournami day was a feast to your eyes.. I did not take photos as I cannot capture the flora and fauna ...even the muslim godawala take dal chawal in Amarnath..they relish white lotus stem. costly but tasty..nutritious they say..Kolkatta and Puri, they offer you meals without onion and garlic..
